A good story makes you appreciate a Pokémon more, and that can definitely boost interest in collecting their cards, like how Psyduck cards went up after *Detective Pikachu*.

I bet these will be super limited and expensive, kinda like how some vintage-style Pokémon cards, like the Base Set reprints, can get pricy. It's smart of Pokémon to do these kinds of collabs for collectors.
Read the full story ↗Shadow Giratina coming back is pretty big for August. Its VSTAR card is still one of the best in the TCG, so a strong Shadow version in GO is a must-have. Also, Gigantamax Rillaboom Max Battle Day sounds cool for new challenges.

You can find it from research or raids, and there's a shiny version out there too. Costumed Pikachus are often rare, similar to special illustration rare cards.
